Robbie and Tanja- July 3, 2010

We had the pleasure of photographing Robbie and Tanja's wedding at Misson Ridge in Wenatchee, WA .
It was great to use some of the surroundings for some unique photographs!

There was a great lookout just a little ways down the road from Mission Ridge. So romantic!

Nickles Photography is now WeddingWire Rated for 2010

Wedding Wire , the nation's leading site for wedding reviews, just announced that Nickles Photography  is WeddingWire Rated 2010 for wedding photography. WeddingWire Rated is an annual award program for wedding professionals based on hundreds of thousands of recent wedding reviews.

WeddingWire Rated, the industry's first formalized review program, is the most recognized and trusted brand among engaged couples looking to locate wedding businesses. The award program recognizes wedding professionals across the country, like us, that have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to service.

We have multiple reviews on WeddingWire. These reviews have been written by past clients of  2009-2010, and include detailed ratings and insightful descriptions of the newlyweds' experience. From quality of service to overall level of professionalism, these reviews showcase the high level of service newly engaged couples can expect from us.

"We are excited to unveil WeddingWire Rated, now in its fourth year, as a way to recognize wedding professionals for their commitment to service," said Timothy Chi, WeddingWire's CEO. "WeddingWire Rated allows wedding businesses to clearly differentiate themselves in their market, while providing engaged couples an easy way to find the best services for their wedding."

We would like to thank their past clients for sharing reviews of their weddings on WeddingWire. Reviews for Nickles Photography can be found across the entire WeddingWire Network, which includes WeddingWire, Martha Stewart Weddings, Project Wedding and Weddingbee.

Busy Bea's Cakes

We love getting to know other companies in the business of weddings in our area! It's opened up a whole new world to us. Every area of a wedding from the dress to the venue requires a unique group of professionals dedicated to their passion. There is a lot of artistry involved with weddings. Creating invitations, photography, decorations.. each professional takes pride in what they do. We found this to be true with Busy Bea Cakes in Cashmere.
I called Bea of Busy Bea's a couple months ago as I started making contacts, letting them know we were getting serious about our wedding photography. Bea was so nice and spent the time to talk with me. I have been a fan of her cakes for a while and I am happy to get to know her on a professional level now. Along with her daughter, Margaret, we came up with a sweet deal! If you buy a wedding cake from Busy Bea's you get $75 off any wedding or e-session package from us! So go to their site and check them out!

Take Two!

I started this blog a couple months ago and then left it here to be all sad and lonely. I really do love to write and I am not sure why I didn't continue with the blog. We have been very busy shutterbugs these past months. I am happy to say that we are going to get even more work as these months progress. I hope to keep you all up to date and share in more detail our happenings (for those of you who care :) ). I love reading blogs because you do get to read more of the details behind the photos. I am such a visual person, I love photos, but reading about events makes it all the more vivid in my mind. I hope to post at least once a week this summer as we will have new and fun images to post with each week. Thanks for reading!

A New Addition to Our Buisness

Well here we are. I didn't want to write a blog for a while. But the thing is, I actually really like to write. Almost as much as I like to talk! Whenever we take photographs of a client it is because they just got engaged or are getting married. They have lots of friends who want to apart of this time in their life. So I thought, why not post some images, tell a little about the day, and let our clients friend's in on it too. And that is what I am going to do. Besides that, Ben and I are learning and growing so much right now that I want to write it down so I remember it all! That way you all can grow with us. Hope you enjoy our little blog.
